economic and ecologic value
Direct economic value includes consumption of food/raw material. Indirect ecologic value includes services like nutrient cycling

-Habitat /destruction /fragmentation and deforestation
-climate change 
-overexploitation
-invasive species
-pollution 
Human activity is the main cause of biodiversity loss
